As part of the UDD 2026 Institutional Conference “Challenges of the New Longevity,” the director of the DesEntr project, Vesna Mandakovic, PhD, played a prominent role as a speaker at this interdisciplinary event organized by the Universidad del Desarrollo.
The academic and researcher from the School of Economics and Business presented the talk “What Does Entrepreneurship Have to Do with Aging Well?”, in which she addressed the relationship between entrepreneurship, active aging, and the creation of new opportunities for older adults. Her presentation highlighted how innovation and entrepreneurial initiative can contribute to well-being, autonomy, and inclusion in an increasingly long-lived society.
Vesna Mandakovic’s participation reinforces the DesEntr project’s contribution to issues related to economic development, innovation, and social transformation, integrating new perspectives on the challenges Chile faces in the face of demographic change.
