Templeton Project Featured on Radio Duna for Chile’s First Survey on Entrepreneurship and Minority Groups

Vesna Mandakovic

Vesna Mandakovic, Director of the DESENTR Project, was featured on Cambios que Transforman, a program on Radio Duna, where she presented the main findings of Chile’s first survey on entrepreneurship and minority groups. Conducted by Universidad del Desarrollo as part of a project funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation, the survey provides new evidence on the entrepreneurial experiences of older adults and migrants in Chile.

During the interview, Mandakovic highlighted the importance of generating rigorous evidence on the opportunities and challenges faced by these traditionally underrepresented groups, emphasizing entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic inclusion and human flourishing. The discussion also explored the policy implications of the findings and the need to strengthen support ecosystems that enable more inclusive entrepreneurial opportunities.
