Cristian Larroulet
DESENTR researcher Cristian Larroulet participated as a speaker at the XIX Atlantic Forum, “Freedom and Democratic Challenges,” held at Casa de América in Madrid, Spain. The forum brought together public officials, academics, and opinion leaders from across Ibero-America to discuss the region’s most pressing political, economic, and social challenges. On this occasion, Larroulet presented findings from the Templeton Project on population aging and the role of entrepreneurship as a mechanism to promote human flourishing and the economic inclusion of older adults. borrador Programa XIX Foro Atlántico.
Larroulet took part in Panel III, “Demography and Human Flourishing,” where he addressed the challenges arising from population aging and discussed how entrepreneurship can contribute to the well-being, economic participation, and development of older adults. The session also explored the conditions necessary to foster human flourishing, sustainable development, and stronger democratic institutions.
